A GUY CRIED ON THE RADIO

If you don’t know, on this day in 1968 there was a proven conspiracy theory between the FBI, the mafia, military intelligence, & the Memphis, TN Police Department that killed Martin Luther King.

With that in mind, I’m listening to Mark Thompson on SIRIUS satellite radio, and he is taking calls about "where were you when MLK died?" Hearing the pain coming from the mouths of the callers reflecting on their 60’s and 70’s experiences is pretty intense. Black and White.

QUICK MLK FACTS:

He wasn’t scheduled to be in Memphis that day. He was called by striking workers.

He would’ve rather been working on the Poor People’s Campaign, but he saw these:

He was working on an economic plan, which included full employment legislation and guaranteed income.

When speaking of the future, he said we "must stay unified" and "must stay on issue."

Sadly, we haven’t and look where we are. Start with the mirror.
